Why mooi?

Mooi means beautiful.

Why bespoke and not custom?

Because custom is barely a step above off-the-shelf. Made in a factory, cut by a computer, sanded by a machine, finished by a robot. I make furniture like a tailor makes a suit. With eye and hand and heart. For you and only you. By me and only me. Bespoke.

Why so expensive?

Because it takes a really long time.

Who buys your work?

People who appreciate meticulous craftsmanship and outside the box design thinking. Movie folk prefer an NDA, but also Guggenheim, Resnick, Von Furstenberg—like that.

Tech execs love me. There’s an actual rocket scientist—details, details, details.

So who’s the guy?

That would be me. Clif Brigden. Hello. Londoner originally. California almost 30 years. I’ve been a musician, an engineer, a producer, a remixer, a programmer, a designer, a tech consultant, and a tech entrepreneur. If you were partying in the eighties and nineties, you’ve heard my tunes. If you’ve ever used a smartphone or downloaded a song, you know my work—it’s deep in both.

Now I make furniture because I love it.

So now what?

Well why not start by saying hello?
